Fathers4Justice advert
An ad by campaigning group Fathers4Justice accusing the "Mumsnet" website of labelling men as rapists, paedophiles and wife beaters has been banned by the advertising watchdog. The ad, addressed to companies that advertise on "Mumsnet", claimed that the online parents' forum carried abusive and distressing anti-male content which promoted gender hatred against men and boys.

Wayne Rooney and Jack Wilshere tweets banned

Nike has become the first UK company to have a Twitter campaign banned, after the advertising watchdog decided that its use of the personal accounts of footballers Wayne Rooney and Jack Wilshere broke rules for not clearly telling the public their tweets were ads.
Nike, which has lucrative sponsorship deals with the Manchester United and Arsenal footballers, ran the Twitter campaign as part of a wider marketing push under the Make It Count advertising strapline.
A tweet posted by Rooney, who has 4.37m followers, said: "My resolution — to start the year as a champion, and finish it as a champion...#makeitcount gonike.me/makeitcount".

Center Parcs banned advert

"Center Parcs has been dectected by the advertising watchdog for running a TV ad campaign featuring families enjoying a cheap break – but did not allow bookings during school holidays when children are free to go away"  http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2012/may/16/center-parcs-advert-banned
The holiday company's TV campaign featured families doing activities together and a voiceover asking parents what experiences they want their kids to remember them by.
Despite this the company said it should have been obvious to viewers that there is no way a family of four would be able to go away together for four nights at the £249 offered in its promotion during peak holiday periods. The £249 quoted in the ad was for mid-week breaks outside school holidays.
The Advertising Standards Authority received a complaint the holiday promotion was misleading and unfair for clearly targeting families but not offering deals for any dates during school holidays.
